While on the topic of the Internet, I wanted to share a really great website - White House Kids. This site provides educational information geared toward children about the President, the White House, presidential pets and animals, and more interesting tidbits.
This site states: “America's Presidents have represented many states, held different occupations and faced difficult challenges. However, each President answered the same call – the call to serve the American people. As you learn about the Presidents, think about ways you can serve your neighbor, community or country today.”
Please take a peek. It is a great way to strike up conversation a the dinner table to let your child know you want to be a part of their education.
