It is imperative to have the support of the parents to meet the academic and social needs of the students. At La Paloma Academy, we believe that in order for your child to meet the challenges that they will face in our society, the development of self-discipline and individual responsibility is essential.

Here’s What Others Are Saying

This school has a family atmosphere and the teachers and staff are wonderful. I am so impressed with the diverse population of teachers and students.

La Paloma Academy is more than a school. It’s a place where students can learn in a safe atmosphere. The administration and teachers are amazing and truly care about the kids. I love the school so much and all it has to offer my children.”

“La Paloma Academy has been a blessing for my child. While at TUSD, she was unmotivated and hated school. After five years at La Paloma, she now loves school and just recently got accepted to University High School. I could not have asked for a better environment and teaching staff to work with my daughter.”

Character and Values Classes

Parents may be asked to attend values classes, offered throughout the year, if their child exhausts the discipline system. Character and values classes are offered throughout the school year for all parents, staff, and anyone wanting to learn more about our philosophy and goals at La Paloma Academy.

Parent Involvement Network (PIN)

Parents, students, and staff are all family at La Paloma Academy. Parents are always invited and encouraged to play an active role in their child’s education, and to have fun while they do it! We welcome friendly parent volunteers in classrooms, monitoring lunches, etc.

La Paloma asks that parents volunteer for a minimum of 10 hours/year.

We view the success of our school as a cohesive partnership between the home and the school. Parental involvement is key. Parents who find themselves unable to volunteer can help our school in other ways. As a fundraiser, the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) sponsors a “Buy Your Parental Volunteer Hours” to help fund the 8th grade trip.

The La Paloma Academy PTO is for everyone! We’d love to have you join our meetings and learn more about our school and your child’s education. We’re an easygoing group with one common objective—ensuring a successful future for every La Paloma student.
