I believe that experiential learning is integral to a well-rounded curriculum and absolutely essential for each student’s academic growth. It is my goal that each student be provided an opportunity to dissect a specimen in Science class this year. They will be dissecting pigs, sheep eye balls, and sheep brains in order to understand both animal and human anatomy and physiology. It is my goal to continue my own journey of education and to share this journey with all of my students. I love when I can actually “see” the light turn on in my students’ eyes. Their joy and moment of pride brings my own pride and joy. |
