I believe in active learning using a variety of methods to reinforce the concepts taught. I use open-ended questions to involve my students in the thinking process. One of the students’ favorite activities is our Gingerbread Unit. We read four different versions of the book, make gingerbread houses, count gingerbread men, and make graphs of what we bit off first! I enjoy the kids’ curiosity and eagerness to learn every day!
