Free Before- and After-School Childcare
La Paloma offers free before- and after-school care for kindergarten through 8th grade students who are currently enrolled. Care is available starting at 7:15 a.m., an hour before school opens, and after school until 5:30 p.m.
The mission of La Paloma’s before- and after-school care is to provide enrolled students with:
- An inclusive childcare program that is safe and nurturing in a comfortable, familiar environment.
- An enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual, and social development of each child.
The After-School Program provides teacher-assisted homework help and tutoring for the first hour. Then kids enjoy fun activities such as arts, crafts, technology, as well as sports and outdoor activities to enhance health and fitness. Friday is movie day!
The program is available until 5:30 p.m. every school day. After-school snacks are provided.
