Principal
Leslie attended the University of Arizona and earned a bachelor’s degree in education. She taught 5th and 3rd grade for six years, four of those at La Paloma Academy Lakeside, before moving to the Central campus. Prior to that, she had the opportunity to spend summers working with developmentally disabled children for ten years, which taught her a lot about patience and understanding. She enjoys spending free time with friends, family, or her awesome dogs!
Vice Principal
Geneva earned a B.A. from the University of Arizona with a double major in Psychology and Spanish Linguistics. She later earned a master’s degree in Psychology from the U of A. She has been with La Paloma Academy for over 14 years, and spent 11 of those years as a 6th grade teacher at the Central campus. Before LPA, Geneva taught classes in the UA Department of Psychology. She also worked as a National Park Ranger at the Grand Canyon; a job that was very special to her after having grown up in National Parks all over the Southwest and California. In her free time, Geneva enjoys traveling and hiking around the Southwest; listening to and playing music; spending time with friends and family, including her son; and lounging with her cat Mr. Meows.
