Parents Don’t Wait…Enroll Today!
All three workshops will be from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and a free spaghetti dinner is included, along with free child care, if needed. Because education doesn’t stop when the dismissal bell rings, La Paloma is offering these workshops to help parents foster a love of learning in their child and reinforce at home what has been learned in school.
- June 12th – Math Strategies for Parents. Development of math skills is a key to the success of children, both at school and in everyday life.
- June 19th – Preparing Your Child for Kindergarten. This includes free learning tools for parents, such as math manipulatives and traceable letter cards.
- June 26th – Fostering a Lifelong Love of Reading in Your Child. This workshop is for parents of children ranging from Kindergarten-8th grades. The workshop will include a free book for each family in attendance.
All three workshops will be held at La Paloma Lakeside Campus, 8140 E. Golf Links Road. If they are well-attended, the sessions may be repeated at the La Paloma Central and La Paloma South campuses in the future.
