This month’s character trait is important in helping students relate to others as they go through life. Showing kindness means being concerned about other people, and treating everyone as we would want to be treated. Kind people think about other’s feelings, they help those in need, are kind even when others are not, and never expect anything in return. To quote Aesop, in the fable, The Lion and the Mouse, “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”
