It’s May, which means that 8th grade graduation ceremonies are coming up, and every student will be making the transition from school to summer break.
Here are some dates parents and students will want to remember:
8th Grade Graduation
The 8th grade graduation ceremony will take place at the following date and time:
- May 21, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Congratulations to all graduates!
Year-End Information
The last day of school will be May 22, 2019. It will be a half-day, no lunch will be served and there will be NO after-school care. Report cards will be sent home, unless parents have received them prior to the last day of school.
Summer Office Hours
The La Paloma Central office will be open on the following schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
- Closed: Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day
- Closed: Thursday, July 4 for Independence Day
Summer Camp
If you’d like your kids to have a fun and productive summer, consider having them join us at La Paloma Summer Camp, which takes place on the Central campus. The all-inclusive fee is $40 per family, $140 per week, which includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Swimming, tae kwon do, enrichment classes, field trips, bowling, museums, and movies are also available. The camp is DES approved.
The Summer Camp schedule is:
May 28-July 19
Monday-Friday
7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
