How to Know When Children Are Too Sick for School

Children can easily fall behind when they miss a few days of school. We know that kids get sick and may need to stay home, but to minimize the number of days a student is absent, this easy guide for parents will tell you if your student is too sick for school.

Meet the Teacher Night

Incoming kindergarteners, 1st graders, and their families are invited to La Paloma Central on Monday, July 30, 5:30-6:30 p.m., for Meet the Teacher Night. Students in grades 2-8 will have Meet the Teacher Night on Tuesday, July 31, 5-6:30 p.m. We encourage families to attend so that students can see their classroom, drop off school supplies, and, of course, meet the teacher. It’s also a chance for parents to see the school and meet other La Paloma families.

Transitioning From Summer to School
