National Women’s History Month

March is National Women’s History Month, and 2018’s theme honors women who fight all forms of discrimination against women. Check out the timeline throughout the years that guided the way for Women’s History Month:

Jump Rope for Heart Beats with the Sound of Little Feet

LPA Lakeside is proud of their participants in the Jump Rope for Heart event, sponsored by the American Heart Association. They have several students participating, but Parker D. is proving to go the distance, with more than $1,000 raised for Lakeside! Let’s give him a big heart-felt thank you and keep on jumping, Parker!

Teen Lifeline Presentations

LPA Lakeside is proud to present the team from Teen Lifeline, who will give two presentations that tackle tough topics like bullying, isolation, stress and compassion. The first talk is March 13 for grades 7-8, and the team returns March 28 for a talk with grade 6. Be sure your student attends this informative and helpful class.
